So, you, biiiig bayside/whatever band fan. you go to the show and spend the first hour stocking up on merch…..i mean like dropping a good $70 on tshirts and hoodies and belt buckles and fitted hats and all that crap…and then, during the band youre decked out in’s set, i see you going outside to have a cigarette.

when i like a band, i will do the pee dance to see the end of their set..yet you pledge your so called allegiance to them by  bailing out to fulfill your nicotine fix. To me, this is just embarassing. If i were in a band, it would just be depressing. If you want to say youre truly a fan of a band, the least you can do is hold off on the bogues and the bathroom for 45 minutes and respect your so called heroes. While you can go on AP.net and preach about all the stupid scenesters out there, you can’t even take the time to appreciate your “favorite” artists for their real life talent, and instead, you choose be the same hot topic poser you are in the mall, only this thursday, its in a music hall.
